The mission and vision of our Women’s Ministry is to bring women together to encounter God, as He has revealed Himself in the Bible, to know and love Him in His fullness through our Lord Jesus Christ. To surrender and live for Christ through studying the Bible, building friendships, sharing our faith, having fellowships, encouraging one another, and serving others in advancing His Kingdom. To love and care for our families, neighbors, communities and the world in the name of Jesus Christ. “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Our mission is to also live as an example for, and reach, the younger generation of ladies of Encounter and FLIPT youth girls to love God and others through Bible engagement, discipleships, mentoring, and generous giving of our time and talents.
“and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-
controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the
word of God may not be reviled.” Titus 2:4-5.
Join the women of Encounter as we meet together on the 1st Monday of each month at 6:30pm. The only exceptions are April and October when we host special events. If you are looking to connect in more meaningful ways with other women and grow in your faith and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, please consider joining one of the women's small group studies.
